We understand that your time is valuable, and so is your experience in the outdoors. That’s why we’ve designed our Easy Warranty Program to be as straightforward and user-friendly as possible. Our program focuses on minimizing downtime and getting you back to your adventures faster.

Simplified Troubleshooting and Replacement

Assemblies, Not Parts: Swap out, don’t tear down.
Focus on Common Issues: Most issues with winches involve the motor, gearbox, or control box. We’ve made it easy to address these without a full teardown.
Easy Swap System: If there’s a problem, we won’t ask you to disassemble the entire unit. Our PDX winch design allows for the motor and gearbox to be separated and replaced using just two bolts. This means you can easily swap out the whole motor, gearbox, or control box.
Efficient Problem Solving: Once we identify the general location of the issue, we’ll send you a replacement assembly right away. This approach not only saves time but also reduces the hassle for you.
Continuous Improvement: Returned parts are analyzed for better data, helping us continually enhance product reliability. Over the years, the PDX has seen over 80 small component updates for better reliability and easier installation.

Our Commitment to You

Australian Consumer Law Guarantees

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Here's what you can expect from our warranty:

Replacements and Refunds: You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Repairs and Replacements: If the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.

In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Ultra Winch offers an extended warranty:

Comprehensive Coverage: Our products are warranted to be free from defects in materials, assembly, and workmanship for up to 7 years from the original date of purchase. For specific warranty periods, please refer to the relevant product page.

Conditions and Exclusions

Proper Use: The warranty is void if the products are used in unreasonable applications or in ways not intended by the manufacturer.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover defects resulting from customer abuse, misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, unauthorized service, modifications, improper installation, or damage caused by accidents.

Limitations

To ensure clarity and manage expectations, please note that our warranty does not cover:

Installation costs
Loss of revenue or business
Vehicle recovery costs
Any indirect, special reliance, incidental, or consequential damages
Any loss of profit, savings, revenue, business, goodwill, or data sustained or incurred in connection with the product
